What do you like most about your job?
The versatility. I cover lots of use cases that directly impact the customer experience – from personalization to setting a Vista everyday fair price to optimizing our product offering.
What does your day-to-day look like?
Fifty percent of my week is pre-planned. I block out time to connect with my leadership team one-to-one and with direct reports for working sessions. I try to join team ceremonies and simply plug into work rather than adding to it. I spend an hour a day and four hours on Fridays doing ‘blue work’ to enable strategic work – reading, editing, authoring papers – that kind of thing. I’m also passionate about growing the next league of leaders from all walks of life, so put energy into that too. The tech space seems ripe for more disruption: I share my thoughts on the topic with anyone who wants to hear them!
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve overcome in your role?
Hiring and building a remote-first team that is happy and effective. Otherwise, I like the challenge of solving customer problems across organizational areas: how do we link up different teams and business units to make truly personalized experiences happen for customers?

I am a total mountain and outdoors person – from climbing to paragliding to backcountry skiing. At home, I’ve started to play the piano again...
